are proud to invite Argentine tango dancers from all
around the world to participate in the first international
tango festival in Jordan in 16|17|18|19 September
2010.
Jordan
tango festival will bring together teachers, artists
and dancers from all around the world, all gathered
for a magical experience in the Arabian desert.
Locations
of the milongas will include Jordan’s most famous
heritage: the Roman theater in Jerash; one of the
best preserved Roman provincial towns in the world,
The Dead Sea; the lowest point on earth, and Rum valley;
a timeless area in the middle of the Jordan desert.
the
festival will be followed with a trip to Petra; one
of the world’s 7 wonders. and other optional
locations in the country.
Workshops
will include special optional classes introducing
Jordan’s traditional dances & music.
